Report from 34t Annual Martin Luther King Support for Banquet by BWFJ

Black Workers for Justice organized the 34th Annual Martin Luther King Support for Labor Banquet at NC Association of Educators Building in Raleigh, NC, on April 8, 2017. The event included political songs by Fruit of Labor Singing Ensemble, spoken work performance, solidarity statements, homage to fallen heroes, keynote speech and dinner.

This year's keynote speech was delivered by veteran Black Liberation and labor leader, Fred Mason who serves as the President of DC/Maryland AFL-CIO. You can view Fred Mason's speech and pictures from the banquet below.
