At our series of Assemblies and Speak Outs, community members and workers will learn more from each other about how they are affected by the current for profit healthcare system. We will also begin to really be educated about what a Medicare for All healthcare system would look like and how working people will benefit from it. We, too, will develop a strategy for putting pressure Congress to pass the Health Care/ Medicarefor All Act of 2019 Bill (HR1384). Particularly, pressuring NC Congressman GK Butterfield while he is in town in September. Sharing, fellowship and Food!
