After two years of not having our annual fundraiser that honors Dr. King’s Support for Labor, we are excited to announce that the 37th Annual MLK Support for Labor Program and Celebration will be held on May 21, 2022 at 6pm in Raleigh, NC. Because of COVID and it being BWFJ’s 40th Anniversary, this year's program will be a little different. There will NOT be a full meal served this year but we will have light refreshments and two keynote speakers. We will be joined by Abdul Alkalimat, a scholar-activist, author, and leader in the Southern Workers Assembly and Samira Addrey, a physician activist, graduate of the Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba, and staff member with IFCO/Pastors for Peace.
We are excited for this year’s program and celebration. We will have an in person and online format. We recommend attending this historic program and celebration in person! Space will be limited so get your tickets early!
Tickets are $40 online on Eventbrite or locally (919) 264-5072
Ad space is available in our Digital Program Book (919) 264-5072
